In 2004, the ISO/TS 16949 Technical Specification for quality management systems emerged as the new standard in the automotive industry.  This quality system upgrade also included training employees to become knowledgeable in the use of automotive industry core tools for Advanced Product Quality Planning, Measurement System Analysis, also known as Gage Studies, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, Statistical Process Control and Production Part Approval Process, also known as Sample Submissions.  As a result of the upgrade of our quality management system, including a system audit by our Registrar, Intertek Automotive Quality Systems, SNA earned its ISO/TS 16949 certification in July 2004.
